Even when a listing doesn't have a dead link, I find no way to edit or delete it.
Events seem to work properly.

Re: listings don't work - use events instead
Thu, April 3, 2008 - 11:52 PMRegular listings are OK, I think. Just don't use requests. They're undeletable/uneditable by (poor) design. -

Re: listings don't work - use events instead
Fri, April 4, 2008 - 8:57 AMActually "requests" don't work at all, because the links are dead. So the title appears, but when you click, you get an error "Unable to find the specified listing." Example: go to:
santafe.tribe.net/
and click on the requests (not the event) "Travel partner(s) wanted July/August Colorado M.." or Travel partner(s) wanted: Colorado, Montana, Ca.."
Regarding listings other than requests; the links seem to work, but the creator is not able to edit or delete. Example:
newmexico.tribe.net/listing/...400913a8d
I am the creator of this listing, and the only available buttons are "respond," "bookmark," "send to a friend."
Thus, I have found that only events work properly. -

Re: listings don't work - use events instead
Fri, April 4, 2008 - 9:47 AMOh, wow... you're right!
OK, here's a workaround. Look at the URL, and grab the listing ID-- it should be pretty obvious. Plug it into one of these:
sanfrancisco.tribe.net/templa...ting.vm
sanfrancisco.tribe.net/templa...nage.vm
Obviously, replace YOURID with the ID from your listing.
Yeah, it's a pain, but it will let you work with your listings until Darren can fix this. -

Re: listings don't work - use events instead
Fri, April 4, 2008 - 9:01 AMAnd one more thing. When I go to "my listings I've posted," it says "You have no active or recently published listings."
Another bug; I have posted many events and listings, some of which are still active. -

Re: listings don't work - use events instead
Thu, May 8, 2008 - 8:33 PMThis just happened to me too. I used to have trouble with my listings in that they wouldn't show up anywhere. But now it's showing up in the tribes where I posted it. However, when I click on "my" and then "listings I've posted" it says I don't have any listings posted! So I can't edit it, and I really want to!
