today, i have seen that when i am on my home page, and where all the 'new comments' come up to the top of your tribe list, i click on it, get to the tribe, but there are no asterisks to indicate which thread had the new comments. Its a given that its on, or towards the top, but if a large tribe is in a talkative mood, it can take forever to go thru them all, to find the comment. And then, when i do find the comment, there is not the orange 'new comment' header that is for identifying them as new.

My bet is your being logged out without knowing it, but as you still have your home page open you have the links there, but upon clicking on the links you show up as a guest in the tribes and therefore don't get the asterisks, etc. This has happened to me before.

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 5:21 PMIs there any chance that you're clicking the tribe links twice? People sometimes do that, especially if Tribe is being slow, but the second click will generally wipe out the new message indicator. -

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 5:48 PMi shut down my computer, and rebooted it, and then went to tribe as a search, re-entered my name and password, and now the asterisks are in place!
