is this something we should all be concerned about?

(i'm specifically referring to Ron's problem getting into his profile
- as he suspects it was due to a tribe related glitch of some sort)

That's something that must have only impacted his account. I have not seen anyone else with this issue.

then you might be the one hacking the accounts. Its happened on multiple occasions with multiple peoples. Not new issue at all. Clever, but not new. Disguised, but not new. If it smells like a B, it might BE a B.

The problem is that expert hackers are sifting for specific personal information, and using it to foul the POLI tribe. They are devious, and genius, and tireless.

If that's true, it would seem to me that they could find better things to do with their lives.

A number of people messed up their passwords when the site was having the problem with login sessions. They would sign in and get signed out but understood that to mean the password was wrong, so requested a new one, then couldn't change it, and request another one and over and over until they no longer could figure out their passwords.

How many people affected were not members of Ron's tribe?

              carolyn,

would you mind being more specific with regard to Ron's case
so we can put the kibosh on the whole hacker/bug theories?

A freaky political tribe deserves some subversion.

Its been acceptable for so many other tribes, why should this get anybodies panties in a wad?

yeah, you just do that, miss 'above it all'. And take that wad and shove it in your noise making orifice. we both know we give a shit less for each other, so what the fuck you stooping for? your panties have been in a wad, well before my appearance. You know you hate me, and i hate you - so what the fuck the mystery? ah, maybe you just like to be a bitch too. Your just passive and wait for another to do it, before you grow a set and do it yourself. Shut up. You are as ignorant as everyone else. So you just wad whatever you want woman, and shove it in the turd slot. Little miss above everyone else.

                    >Its been acceptable for so many other tribes, why should this get anybodies panties in a wad?

Most of the problems I have been having in the last 3 months happen only after I have visited the Politics tribe.

More so, even, while I'm actually visiting it.

If I didn't have anyone going out of their way to assure me there was no hack, I would have no reason at all to think there wasn't one.

At some point I realized that my browser or computer probably would not crash as long as I didn't try to spell correctly in a Politics tribe message the name of Venezuela's president.

Aside from the larger problem with the Politics tribe, the protocol of using the name 'Chavo' has worked... except when I forget to apply it.

                    Is it really that simple?

                    Yes. It is.

There was no indication of another user's ip address accessing his account.

Unless his IP addy, itself, was compromised by, for example, someone inside the Tribe technical team...

Oy.... as the the sole member of the "Tribe technical team" I can assure you that I don't have time to masquerade as someone else's IP address for the purpose of creating more work for myself...

Now, if someone went in his house, used his computer and logged in as him, then there's not much I can do about that.
