cannot send friend requests

I have been trying to send friend requests but cannot get past the email letter for a request. When I try to send it loops back to the email and does not send a request. Is there a limit to how many requests one can make in a day?

    pawlee, the system is not functioning correctly right now. It is very likely that there are problems in many areas. To my knowledge, there is no limit to the amount of friend requests you send. rest tight, in the upcoming weeks things will probably work a little better.
