In posting on one tribe, the post doesn't show up after leaving the thread. Go back ~ it's there. Go back to the main page ~ nope. Tribe menu looks static, too.

I closed out and signed back in and things on Bellini are fine at this moment!! -

Re: Posting Problem.
Mon, November 2, 2009 - 4:57 PMMay or may not be related, but when I uploaded a photo to a group. It went back to the photos page where it should have shown my new image first on the list, but the image wasn't there. The second time, same thing. I chose 24 rather than the 6 images per page to get the photos to redraw and there were both uploads. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Yesterday, 6:08 PMmy blog and several posts from the 21st, have just disappeared. Like the weekend help deleted them, which of course would not happen, but none the less, never had a blog evaporate. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Yesterday, 8:42 PMDon't you think, Flint, if your blog and several posts of yesterday vanished, it might mean that they did one of those databank roll backs on some server? I tried to post a photo Saturday night Tokyo time and it went up in smoke twice. (maybe it was too big? but I did not get any error message)
My blog is still there. Hm. Are they really picking on you? Would be nice if Carolyn would tell us what happened with the servers yesterday. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Yesterday, 10:07 PMwhen i am a gentleman, i get no response. thence, the hostile adjectives.
i am just reporting for the sake of the fucking site, not because i am hallucinating enouph to think i would get a response from the refrigerator, oops, i mean moderator. bad flint. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Today, 4:25 AMYou all keep waiting for a response when it's clear tribe has heard of these issues over and over again.
I assure you they are aware of all of it.
The version of Tribe we are all using will continue to have these issues.
When a new version of Tribe is released there's a good chance these types of bugs will be a thing of the past.
I hope Carolyn took Sunday off like many of us. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Today, 4:46 AMYes, there will be all new bugs. Such is the nature of software development. -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Posting Problem.
Today, 5:20 AMBut at least they should be able to manage and correct those as Tribe would have all of the documentation they would need to make corrections. That type of documentation is missing from the current platform. -

Re: Posting Problem.
Today, 7:13 AMIf you ask me, waiting for tribe to fix itself is like waiting for Godot. But since I can't think of a better site, in spite of all the bloody glitches, I am still here. It's a bit like driving a bumpy old car that you love. ; ) And there are always stretches when it works, for a while.
By the way, my blog entries are still there. But maybe one should think about trying save them offline, in case something happens? -

Re: Posting Problem.
Today, 9:57 AMi doubt a new version of anything will fix much of anything.
and craig dear, if they know it all, and are not going to respond, then this fucking tribe should be fucking cut. No need for a tribe thats moderator finds our input unworthy of commentary. fighting, i understand, but when there are sincere reports (duh- 'bug reports') are
not answered but once in a blue moon- well then kiss my ass is the response they earned. poor overworked dears.
