Carolyn, This happens to me occasionally also. I simply open a new page in a separate window/tab and login again, then I go back to the other window with my original content in it and resubmit the text again. It's a workaround but it works. What really is strange though is why tribe cares which official server a cookie was issued from in the first place. Facebook doesn't have this problem...or not as frequently anyways. It's kind of like Tribe's servers were setup to require cookie time outs because of the realtime hacking that was going on way back when...and now?

So it happened in the trivia tiibe ? It is going through a name change - but I rarely change the url which is http://tribes.tribe.net/triviarocks because , trivia does indeed rock. And I had not removed you as a member. So it is 100% glitch. I have never had what you describe happen in a private tribe..

maybe you got redirected to a different server and momentarily logged out? strange though since there haven't been any issues with the servers today but there has been a lot of traffic.

I just wrote a response in a thread and when I clicked "submit" it said:"This action cannot be performed. One of the reasons could be that you are not a member of this tribe" and so on. Aghast, I checked my home page, the tribe was still there, with new postings, went back to the tribe, it still said "Ask a friend to join", so I rewrote the posting, clicked submit and it worked. Oof! Is tribe.net playing tricks on me or was that the moderator teasing?
