Sorry if this has been answered recently, but I couldn't find a recent post on it. But for over a year I've off and on tried to contact Tribe.net to delete a Tribe. I gave up for awhile, after asking about it here and just getting "yeah, it happened to me too" and figured eventually this would be resolved. But I tried again and got a bounced email (help@tribe.net). So I tried feedback@tribe.net to ask there and got that bounced too.
Are there any ways to contact Tribe.net?

Re: contacting tribe.net
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 10:52 PMThey give instructions to email help@tribe.net to have it done. If such instructions are there they should honor them...or remove them. The real point is, here they have all these emails they say we can contact them at and they all bounce. This has been going on for a long time. Pretty sad. Again, if these are not real email addresses, they should remove the information telling you to use them.
It's due to this lack of connection with those supposedly running this Tribe.net that made me decide to not bother. But I do have some friends, including r/l ones who are only here. And I figured after all this time this would be fixed by now. -

Re: contacting tribe.net
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 11:05 PMblank it out, make it public, then let whoever come along to remake it. There are plenty of good artists here. Leave a hint as to some theme or something funny. Just as a quaint reminder that you had some intentions, but then you changed your mind. That was anything personal to you or others doesn't exist anymore. -

Re: contacting tribe.net
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 11:27 PMI just did pretty much that except I made it public...after changing the name and url and everything so that any investment I have is not there.
I hope my undying gratitude is enough, I'm too worn out now to find your account. ~;) -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: contacting tribe.net
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 11:54 PMI do feel better. It's amazing how something seemingly so little, as it sits there saying it exists and all when you don't want it to, can weigh you down. Thank you! -

Re: contacting tribe.net
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 5:51 AMI'm very sorry for the trouble with this! It's quite odd that email would bounce, we certainly get plenty of mail at help@tribe.net and feedback@tribe.net and you can also message this account directly. If possible, could you send the bounce message to me via the Tribe message system?
Also include the URL of the tribe you'd like deleted. -

Re: contacting tribe.net
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 12:14 PMYou are real helpful when contact is made Tribe help. But we cannot determine which letters have reached you, and which have been decided to not be answered, which leaves us to conjecture. When no response goes too long, the conjecture may not be right, but in lieu of an answer, people arrive at their own conclusions. I like your assistance, but a communication standard between what is received or not, will bring down disgrunteled people to some degree. -

Re: contacting tribe.net
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 7:54 PMHmm... I do generally respond to everything that requests a response. Granted, that means I often might not respond to the server down messages, moderator changes or spammer unsubs unless I have a question regarding them, but if see that the moderator has changed, the spammer is deleted, and the site is back up, that usually means I got your message!
Unfortunately, it's really hard to tell when I'm not receiving a message you sent, so if you were needing a response and you don't get one, then please do send your message again. I don't think we have a problem receiving mail unless you've been blacklisted by the anti-spam services... this thread was the first I'd heard of anyone getting a bounce message within the last year. -
